A Beach For All Seasons

Welcome to my blog "A Beach For All Seasons".  It's a little different from my other blog "n4a¢", where I tend to cuss more.
Also, this is not a strictly "Beach Music" or "Shag Music" blog;  this is where I just spitball.  I'll try to have a little fun too

Shaggit 'Til You Draggit

This song, "Shaggit 'til You Draggit" is a 120bpm shagger; which means that after two Mojito's, it may be too fast, or, after two more Mojito's, you may not really give a flying flip how fast it is. Your mileage may vary.

According to any of the countless sources, "The Shag" or "Carolina Shag", was born of the early Rhythm and Blues era (late 40's up until, well, NOW) on the Eastern Seaboard of the Carolinas, reaching way the hell up as far as Maine on down to The Florida Keys. Wanna start a fist-fight?.....announce that you're the undisputed authority in regards "The Shag" or "Carolina Beach Music". Then your mileage WILL vary by multiple magnitudes, including the losing of eyes.

The "Shag" is the "Official State Dance" of South Carolina.  In Europe, "Shag" has a completely different meaning.....that particular shag is better described HERE.

I cut my musical teeth in South Carolina, in and around Columbia and from Savannah on up to Carolina Beach.  I was blessed and fell in with the "right bunch". I went on from there to play The Big Noise with The Big Boy's, all over the world.  I'm still having the time of my life, and I thank and love you all.

I think I know this woman. I bet you know her too; the one with the insatiable appetite for driving you crazy.  Hell, we've ALL run into her at one time or another, unless you're some dork still livin' in your moms basement.  And, she was totally worth it!

Sex!  The sport for all seasons.  Anyone can play. Anyone can score, indoors or out.  And, even if you don't score, it's just like fishing - merely playing the game makes the sport quite enjoyable.

This song, "Sweet Spot", hit the beach charts in 2009, and had a good run, reaching #1 for a couple of weeks.  The Carolina Beach Music crowd gave it a nice reception the first time around and.....HERE IT COMES AGAIN!
